At Creativity, through our products and how we run our business, we try to bring some happiness to crafters, creatives, kids, families, makers, artists, teachers and photographers. Which makes it all the more hard when you hear news of a disaster on such a phenomenal scale. We all were affected when we heard about the Typhoon hitting the Philippines. Some of us have friends who are aid workers out there, and it really brings it home seeing the images on the television, the children whose parents have been swept away, homes and communities wrecked, no food or shelter. Knowing that if everyone puts in a little then it makes up a lot, we have just made a donation to the Philippines Typhoon Appeal. If you have some spare change and have been looking for the link to donate to help, here it is http://www.dec.org.uk/

We had a lovely reply back from the appeal director: “Because of your generosity we can provide hope to some of the Millions whose lives have been turned upside down by the devastation of Typhoon Haiyan. Hope to people like 10-year-old Rafael, who lost his father when the Typhoon struck. His cries for help did not go un-noticed; it was you and many others like you that decided to answer his call. Now we can provide people like Rafael with food, shelter and urgent medical supplies.  We simply could not do this without you, so once more on behalf of all those affected by this disaster, who will receive aid because of you, we say thank you.”
